These seminars aimed to develop the skills and knowledge of trade unionists from the new EU Member States in order to help them to contribute effectively in the implementation of the European social dialogue at national level. Interpretation facilities were available to participants in their language.

What subjects are dealt with?

Policy and legislative instruments developed at EU level in the framework of the European social dialogue (see ppt), including: Framework agreement on Violence and Harassment (see ppt); Framework agreement on work related stress (see ppt), Framework of Action on Gender Equality (see ppt), Joint Analysis of the European Social Partners (see ppt).

Who can apply?

Trade unionists with a basic knowledge of the European social dialogue instruments and procedures coming from one of the following Member States: Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovakia or Slovenia.

Groups were broken down as illustrated below.
